Iran was still hopeful that a UN-drafted deal to supply nuclear fuel to a Tehran reactor could be finalized. Foreign Minister Mottaki has told reporters that Iran is showing flexibility how to effect an exchange of its low enriched uranium for higher enriched nuclear fuel if the West is ready for a deal. Mottaki said the deal can still be done "in a little while if they show some political will. He said Iran will celebrate its landmark attainment of nuclear capability on April 16 and 17 in an assertion that nuclear technology is for all."
